What it does

Open an issue with a title like "login is broken on mobile" and a one-line description. Within a few seconds, the app posts a comment like this:

User story As a mobile user, I want the login form to work correctly on my phone, so that I can access my account without switching devices.

Acceptance criteria

• Login form submits successfully on iOS Safari and Chrome Android
• Error messages are visible above the fold
• Tapping input fields does not cause layout shift

Suggested story points: 3

That's it. No setup, no configuration, no UI to learn. Just install and start writing issues.

How it works

The app listens for new and edited issues in repos where it's installed. When one comes in, the title and description get sent to a language model that rewrites them in standard user story format. The result gets posted as a comment. The original issue is never modified.

Privacy

Issue titles and descriptions are sent to the language model provider for processing (Claude). They are not stored on briefmap.io servers and not used for any other purpose. The app only requests the minimum permissions needed: read and write access to issues on repos you explicitly install it on.
